Omg the final book to this trilogy was absolutely everything and what an amazing way to end the series 🙌👏 it seriously gave me all the feels， my poor heart for our girl Jojo！ My heart was in my mouth at one point！ Well throughout the whole bloody series 😂 but it was definitely worth it。 Sooo worth it ❤️ I'm glad they got the ending they did， not going to lie I wasn't too sure what the hell to expect at one point but Abby Millsaps （you queen！） thankyou for such an amazing read and characters that Omg the final book to this trilogy was absolutely everything and what an amazing way to end the series 🙌👏 it seriously gave me all the feels， my poor heart for our girl Jojo！ My heart was in my mouth at one point！ Well throughout the whole bloody series 😂 but it was definitely worth it。 Sooo worth it ❤️ I'm glad they got the ending they did， not going to lie I wasn't too sure what the hell to expect at one point but Abby Millsaps （you queen！） thankyou for such an amazing read and characters that will forever live rent free in my mind 🥰 I love how subjects were given light and hopefully helped to raise awareness on certain illnesses and subjects - because they were done so beautifully ❤️ I'm so glad its a why choose series because damnnnnn I definitely wouldn't be able to choose。 Not only did with have spice but the plot was amazing and so was the writing the series was just beautifully written。 I seriously did not want it to end but I can't wait to see what comes next with our girl Hunter 👀👀 I'm already so bloody invested in her！ 。。。more

This year I’ve felt like there was a time BSD （Before Stats Daddy） and ASD （After Stats Daddy）。 The era of ASD began on July 21st， 2023， when the first book in this series， Too Safe， was released。 Ever since Abby Millsaps unleashed the wicked and cunning Kylian （AKA Stats Daddy） on the world with the publication of the first book in the Boys of Lake Chapel book series， I’ve decided no other book boyfriend compares。 With the release of Too Far， the last in this trilogy， my opinion has not changed This year I’ve felt like there was a time BSD （Before Stats Daddy） and ASD （After Stats Daddy）。 The era of ASD began on July 21st， 2023， when the first book in this series， Too Safe， was released。 Ever since Abby Millsaps unleashed the wicked and cunning Kylian （AKA Stats Daddy） on the world with the publication of the first book in the Boys of Lake Chapel book series， I’ve decided no other book boyfriend compares。 With the release of Too Far， the last in this trilogy， my opinion has not changed。 I don’t care how much more Josephine got of Kendrick， Nicky， or even the great Decker Crusade himself。 No。 It is Stats Daddy who forever holds my heart and is still， in my mind， the true male star of Boys of Lake Chapel。 This review is as much for the whole series as it is for Too Far; but make no mistake， Too Far is a truly excellent novel and is the epitome of what a series conclusion should look like。 It picks up almost exactly where Too Fast left off and keeps hurtling forward， barreling towards disaster。 It’s obvious that all it will take is a single slip-up for the house of cards to fall down。 The first half of the book is suspenseful， heartbreaking， emotional， and frustrating （so， so frustrating）。 The second half of the book is swollen with emotion， angst， love， and lust。 The epilogues made me cry。 And cry。 And cry。 Heck， this whole book made my eyes leak water several times。 I did not sob。 You did。 The last epilogue was so touching to me。 I didn’t cry， but I was deeply， deeply touched。 I can’t express how much it meant to me which character was chosen for the last epilogue and what they said in it。 My heart grew fifty million sizes。 If you haven’t picked up this series， I can’t express how much I recommend it。 This is my book series of the year。 If you know me， you must know how rare it is for me to pick a non-LGBTQ Why Choose romance series as my series of the year。 I just can’t escape how deeply this series touched me nor how hot Stats Daddy made me。 The charisma of the group as a whole cannot be denied。 Congratulations， Abby Millsaps–You’re a genius。 All thoughts， opinions， views， and ideas expressed herein are mine and mine alone。 No compensation was provided for this review。 Thank you。File Under: 5 Star Review/Book Series/College Romance/Contemporary Romance/Daddy Kink/Disability Representation/Found Family/Kindle Unlimited/Kink Friendly/Romance Series/Spice Level 3/Sports Romance/Why Choose Romance 。。。more

Too Far truly solidified my joy for this series and its characters， especially the boys。 The portrayal of their affection for Joey and the family unit they built with her was heartwarming。 Each character， especially Decker， underwent significant growth， and I'm genuinely satisfied with how their story concluded。Millsaps' writing is sublime; it effortlessly draws me in and refuses to let go。 Despite its nearly 500 pages， the book was a quick， engaging read。 The banter among the characters is top- Too Far truly solidified my joy for this series and its characters， especially the boys。 The portrayal of their affection for Joey and the family unit they built with her was heartwarming。 Each character， especially Decker， underwent significant growth， and I'm genuinely satisfied with how their story concluded。Millsaps' writing is sublime; it effortlessly draws me in and refuses to let go。 Despite its nearly 500 pages， the book was a quick， engaging read。 The banter among the characters is top-notch， showcasing the genuine love and affection within their somewhat dysfunctional yet tight-knit family。This installment is undeniably the spiciest of the trilogy。 Abby skillfully delivers on group scenes and adds just the right amount of spice。 However， there were moments when it felt a bit excessive， overshadowing the story and plot with explicit content。One standout aspect of the trilogy is the exceptional representation of mental and physical health。 This book delves into Nicky's struggles with arthritis， offering a poignant portrayal。The sneak peek for Hunter's book is incredibly exciting， and I'm hopeful for glimpses of the Lake Chapel family in the future 。。。more

I have loved this series and this little family since the beginning however I struggled with this book。 I feel like it took me too long to get into and I kept waiting for something interesting to happen。It is definitely the spiciest of the 3。 Abby did not disappoint when it came to the group scenes and the additional spice。 However at times it was too much。 I felt like we started missing the story and the plot for the sake of smut。 I still love the guys and how they’re portrayed in this series w I have loved this series and this little family since the beginning however I struggled with this book。 I feel like it took me too long to get into and I kept waiting for something interesting to happen。It is definitely the spiciest of the 3。 Abby did not disappoint when it came to the group scenes and the additional spice。 However at times it was too much。 I felt like we started missing the story and the plot for the sake of smut。 I still love the guys and how they’re portrayed in this series with each of their diversity’s。 It’s a unique storyline just on that point alone。 Jo has a connection with each one in a different way and I love that。 Decker drove me a bit crazy in this book with his back and forth but I do understand why the author did it。 Jo was annoying to me in this book。 I feel like her storyline got lost along the way。 She was this fierce and independent girl in book one and by book 3 she was extremely dependent on the guys。 Almost clingy。 She never wanted to be alone and no longer strong like she originally was。 I think even a woman in a why choose would want some space sometimes but she was literally never alone。There were some holes I felt like should have been filled in for sure。 We spent so much of the book reading about the cameras and the documentary that we never heard anything else about it after “that moment”。 It was such a key focus it seemed like suddenly it didn’t happen because it was never mentioned again。 Unfortunately I just think the spice took over the book and I missed the story progression like the first two books。 I am happy they have their HEA but I think the protagonist was quickly dealt with and the loose ends tied up rather quickly。3。5 rounded3。5🌶 。。。more

4。5 stars - Riveting conclusion Volume three and the conclusion to the Boys of Lake Chapel series （NB: this is not a standalone， books must be read in order） sees us pick up with all the drama and emotions that ebb and flow between these five characters。 Tensions are high as the camera crew move in for their feature with microphones and cameras following their every move in the house。 This intrusion into their lives convinces Decker that the future with the contracts and obligations he has is un 4。5 stars - Riveting conclusion Volume three and the conclusion to the Boys of Lake Chapel series （NB: this is not a standalone， books must be read in order） sees us pick up with all the drama and emotions that ebb and flow between these five characters。 Tensions are high as the camera crew move in for their feature with microphones and cameras following their every move in the house。 This intrusion into their lives convinces Decker that the future with the contracts and obligations he has is unsustainable， believing he is protecting everyone he makes some drastic moves， initially blowing them up， but finally bringing them together， where we leave them living their best lives。 This volume， as is the others， is heavy with sex scenes。 While they are undoubtedly hot and bring about some crucial bonding moments， a lot of it seems almost gratuitous。 Nevertheless， the entire series is well written， well plotted and has made for entertaining reading。 。。。more

Oh my lord。 This book was such an emotional rollercoaster。 Joey was finally in a good place with all her guys and then BAM！ Abby hit us with another twist 😩 They did get the happily ever after they deserved， but what they had to go through to get there was hard。 I don’t want to say a lot， because spoilers。 I will say I absolutely loved every moment of Joey’s story， and I love all her guys。 They are all perfect together and their story makes my heart happy。

This was a fantastic final book！ These characters finally got the hard won HEA they deserve， but it was only after they faced SO many struggles and challenges。 At times my heart ached for them， but each time， they came back fighting and stronger than ever。 It’s a testament to the storytelling that I came to care for them so much really。 It’s bittersweet saying goodbye， but it makes me happy to know that I can revisit them again soon。

I am so overwhelmed by my love for these characters！ All the hardships that these 5 went through individually and together shows how resilient they are as a unit。 At the end of the day this was the story of how 5 people love each other and became a family。 On the complete opposite note of how wholesome the group is， all the spice was SO GOOD。 I loved seeing the dynamics shift as they became more in tune with each others needs！ I could read each scene five more times and still be as intrigued as I am so overwhelmed by my love for these characters！ All the hardships that these 5 went through individually and together shows how resilient they are as a unit。 At the end of the day this was the story of how 5 people love each other and became a family。 On the complete opposite note of how wholesome the group is， all the spice was SO GOOD。 I loved seeing the dynamics shift as they became more in tune with each others needs！ I could read each scene five more times and still be as intrigued as I was the first time！I am so sad to let these characters go， but I cannot wait for Hunter’s series！！ 。。。more
